These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of our Services shall be governed by the laws of England.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our Services following any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. International Use

We make no representation that our Services are appropriate or available for use in locations outside of the United Kingdom. If you access our Services from other jurisdictions, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

14. Modifications and Updates

We may, at our sole discretion, modify, update, or discontinue our Services, or any part thereof, at any time without notice. Your continued use of our Services following any modifications or updates constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

These Terms, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by BudgetWise without restriction, including in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Premium Features and Subscription

a. Subscription Plans: We may offer premium features through various subscription plans ("Premium Plans"). By subscribing to a Premium Plan, you agree to pay the fees associated with that plan as described on our Services.

b. Payment Terms: Payments for Premium Plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable, except as expressly provided in these Terms. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, and we will charge tax when required to do so. If you have not provided a valid payment method, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the premium features.

c. Automatic Renewal: Your subscription to a Premium Plan will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel your subscription before the end of the current billing cycle. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal fees associated with your Premium Plan.

d. Cancellations: You may cancel your Premium Plan at any time through the account management interface provided on our Services. If you cancel your Premium Plan before the end of the current billing cycle, your cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing cycle, and you will not be entitled to any refunds or credits for partial months.

e. Refunds: We do not offer refunds for Premium Plan fees, except in cases where we have made a billing error or as required by applicable law. If you believe that we have made a billing error, please contact us within 30 days of the billing date, and we will investigate your claim.

f. Changes to Premium Plans: We may change the features and pricing of our Premium Plans at any time. If we make changes that impact your current subscription, we will provide you with advance notice of the changes, and your continued use of our Services after the changes take effect will constitute your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your Premium Plan before the changes take effect.

18. Financial Data and Third-Party Services

a. Financial Data: By using our Services, you may provide us with sensitive financial data, including but not limited to income, outgoings, account balances, transaction history, pension data and other financial account information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the financial data you provide and for keeping such data up to date.

b. Third-Party Services: Our Services may integrate with third-party financial institutions or service providers to access your financial data or provide additional features. By connecting your bank account or other financial accounts with our Services, you authorise us and the applicable third-party service provider to access and use your financial data as necessary to provide the Services. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of any financial data provided by third-party service providers.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BudgetWise regarding your use of our Services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and BudgetWise with respect to our Services.
